AquaFloat buoyancy aid for the iPhone
The idea for this flotation device originated from the need to protect the iPhone from sinking during water sports activities. Many of my friends and acquaintances, who are regularly out on the water, needed a reliable solution.
The development process began with the elaboration of various concepts for attaching the flotation device to the iPhone using the MagSafe system. Subsequently, I conducted numerous tests with different types of foam and Styrofoam to find the optimal material. It needed to be lightweight yet robust enough to keep the iPhone on the water's surface.
After several prototypes and tests under real conditions, I was able to ensure that the float reliably works. It keeps the iPhone always on the surface and does not interfere with its use. The bright color also ensures good visibility of the device in water.
With this float, the iPhone remains safe and within reach even during water sports activities.
