Small Light Cube
Cube is a light reduced to the essentials: light, form and material. Its perforated surface creates an engaging play of light and shadow while inside a programmable LED matrix generates vivid and dynamic lighting scenes. Sometimes subtle, sometimes bold, always with character.
The housing is made of 3D printed parts assembled seamlessly. Different materials are used for targeted light control: semi transparent PLA for soft diffusion and opaque PLA for defined contrasts. The result is an object with a clear form and functional depth.
Powered via USB C Cube is versatile in use. A smart core controls the light precisely and intuitively creating an atmosphere that can be both seen and felt.
Cube was developed as a prototype but its potential goes further. In serial production the housing could be milled from aluminum for higher precision and a more refined feel. Alternatively injection molding would allow efficient manufacturing in larger quantities. The design remains while the possibilities expand.
