Lamp01 is a fascinating concept that is strongly inspired by the iconic Cestita table lamp by Santa & Cole. In developing this design, it was crucial to preserve the fundamental aesthetics of the Cestita table lamp and even enhance it through the use of 3D printing.
Each part of the lamp has been designed to be independently 3D printed. The special feature is that these parts can then be connected together to assemble the complete lamp, while retaining the option to use a conventional lamp socket and simply insert it into the lamp.
The idea behind this design was to bring this timeless lamp into the world of 3D printing and to showcase the creative possibilities that arise from it.
It is about creating a connection between classic design and innovative manufacturing technology, thus allowing for a new, exciting perspective on this tried-and-true concept.
