Luminar was born out of the desire to create a candle holder for the Advent season that is not only functional but also has an elegant and delicate appearance. The creative process was a fascinating journey filled with many challenges and insights.
My vision for Luminar was clear: a simple yet appealing design that acts like a small work of art on my dining table. The path to this goal went through numerous iterations and experiments. Finding the right curves and spaces was a true journey of fine-tuning.
It began with sketches and collections of ideas, followed by prototypical models. Each variation was carefully considered to find the optimal height adjustment of the four candle slots. Aesthetics played a crucial role, and the goal was clear: Luminar should not only be functional but also a focal point and piece of decor on the dining table.
Experimenting with different shapes and proportions was crucial. Through this process, I was able to find the right balance between elegance and functionality. The joy when Luminar finally stood before me in its completed form was indescribable.
With Luminar, I created not just a candlestick, but an artistic piece that captures the festive atmosphere of the Advent season in a special way. It represents not only a finished product but the journey of creativity and dedication that is embedded in every detail.
