This desk is an innovative concept specifically designed for 3D printing. The challenge was to create a system where many individual parts could be printed and then connected by wooden beams to form a stable table at the end. The plug-in principle allows for easy assembly and disassembly.

The central element of the desk is a middle part into which five beams can be inserted. These legs are connected by parts that establish both the table with the legs and the connection between the two legs. Special attention was paid to designing the parts so that they are 3D printable and have minimal overhangs to optimize printability.

The stability of the desk was a central concern. Each part was designed to easily bear the weight of the table. The wooden beams inserted into the printed parts provide a solid structure and give the desk the necessary strength.

The desk is currently still in the conceptual stage and has not been physically built yet. Designing this piece of furniture was a fascinating challenge aimed at finding a harmonious balance between functionality, printability, and stability.
