Lamp
Fernández is an expression of my passion for form and light. As a design student I have always been fascinated by the idea of connecting past design eras with contemporary influences. With this project I wanted to create a lamp that combines the charm of classic lines with a futuristic aesthetic.
Fernández combines organic curved shapes with clear symmetrical lines inspired by Art Deco and Mid Century Modern. The futuristic touch comes from the choice of materials and the way the light is structured. The slats can be easily inserted into the parts using a simple slot system and distribute the light in an elegant way.
It was important to me to create a design that is not only functional but also emotionally engaging.
Fernández is meant to provide light while also creating an atmosphere that brings a sense of nostalgia combined with a futuristic vision to the space.
