Floating case for iPhone
A lot of my friends spend their free time on the water and needed a way to keep their iPhones from sinking during water sports, which is where the idea for AquaFloat came from.
I started with different ways to attach a float via MagSafe and then tested various foams and types of polystyrene to find one light yet strong enough to keep the phone at the surface.
After several prototypes and tests out on the water, the float reliably keeps the iPhone at the surface without getting in the way when you use it. Its bright green also makes it easy to spot in the water.
With AquaFloat, the phone can come along for water sports without the risk of losing it.
