Luminar
Advent candle holder
I designed Luminar as a candle holder for Advent that also works as a centerpiece on the table. Through sketches, prototypes and many small adjustments, I worked out the proportions and the spacing between the candles.
Trying out lots of shapes and proportions was the only way to find a version that looked right and still did its job, and seeing the finished piece for the first time was a great moment.
Luminar is meant to bring some of the Advent atmosphere to the table, and it shows how much time went into the details.
