Catan board game in 3D
In my 3D version of Settlers of Catan I wanted a simple look without losing any of the original game’s complexity. The tiles have rounded edges, muted colors and magnetic connections, and the villages and cities went through several rounds of changes until they looked like one set while keeping their character.
With forests, wheat fields and sheep in 3D, the board becomes something you want to pick up and look at, while the core elements of the game stay the same.
My goal was a version that feels new but still stays true to the original.
